About me

My name is Ana Sofia. I am a Military spouse, mama to two beautiful girls, Isla & Ellie, and a lifestyle photographer.

I was born in Mexico, moved to Charleston, SC, and currently live in San Diego, CA! I am 25 years old, and some of my favorite hobbies are taking photos, dancing, spending time with family, going to the beach, reading a good book, and traveling. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in International Business, currently work in the Digital Marketing field, and am a Professional Dancer. 

I come from a family of photographers, starting with my great-grandpa, who was a well-known photographer in Mexico in the 1940s. I believe the eye for photography runs in the family! 

It started from my old Nikon cameras, to cellphone cameras, and now we are here! I love capturing genuine and candid moments in life. I believe there is no better way to keep a memory alive than through a photograph, which is why I strive to bring my clients' visions and ideas to life, delivering beautiful moments that they can cherish forever. I have over 10k photos on my iPhone because I believe every moment is worth capturing! To me, it is like freezing time and putting it in your pocket to look back at it in the future! 

My editing style is natural, creamy, and airy. If you like photos that are not overly retouched and look naturally beautiful, I am your girl! I believe natural light is my best friend when it comes to photography, and I love to use it to my advantage! Love keeping the essence of the photos but also working my magic and a few tricks to make them look their best!

As a mom, I know it is hard to get ourselves in the picture, since we are usually the ones behind the camera! I love doing family sessions, maternity, and especially focusing on bringing mamas the joy of being on the other side of the camera! Rest assured, as a mom of 2, I am patient and will make sure we get your babies smiling and enjoying the session!
