Hi there, I'm Ana Sofia!

I'm a mama to two beautiful girls, Isla and Ellie, a lifestyle photographer, and a Charleston local once again! I was born in Mexico and moved to Charleston, SC, as a teenager, where I quickly fell in love with the charm and beauty of the Lowcountry. 

After spending the last five years living in San Diego, California, I've recently returned home and couldn't be more excited to capture memories in this incredible place once again. What started as a hobby in California, quickly became a business and I am so happy it did because now I get to do what I love/enjoy even more! 

When I'm not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my family, line dancing, enjoying a beach day, reading a good book, or planning our next adventure. 

Photography runs deep in my family. My great-grandfather was a well-known photographer in Mexico during the 1940s, and I'd like to think that passion and artistic eye have been passed down through the generations. What started with old Nikon cameras and cellphone photography has grown into a true love for documenting life's most meaningful moments.

I believe there is no better way to preserve a memory than through a photograph. My goal is to capture genuine, candid moments that tell your story authentically and beautifully. I'm the person with over 10,000 photos on my phone because I truly believe every moment is worth remembering. To me, photography is like freezing time and keeping it close so you can revisit those memories for years to come.

My editing style is natural, creamy, and airy, focusing on enhancing your images while preserving their authenticity. I love working with natural light and creating timeless photographs that feel effortless, emotional, and true to life. I also do enjoy studio shoots!

As a mom myself, I know how often we're the ones behind the camera instead of in front of it. That's why I have a special place in my heart for family and maternity sessions. I love helping moms step into the frame and be part of the memories they're creating. With years of experience and plenty of patience, I'll make sure your session feels relaxed, enjoyable, and fun for the whole family—even the little ones.
